A lover of languages and dabbler in new cities, fashion and food, you could call me a creative nomad with a German attention to detail, a French passion for pretty things, and an Aussie love for sunshine.
I grew up in sunny South-East Queensland, Australia but in 2004 Europe was calling my name, so I decided to study and work abroad in marketing during my undergraduate degree. After a year in Strasbourg and Paris, I relocated to Germany in 2006 with my now husband and worked for Heidelberg Press, where I had amazing opportunities to work on global marketing campaigns and engage with top design agencies. It was also where love of letterpress printing and typography triggered a new passion in me to marry my love of marketing with design.
After my adventures abroad, I returned to Australia in 2008 to complete my Masters in Marketing, Communications and Public Relations, after which I worked at number of creative communications agencies. The more I interacted with graphic designers, the more I wanted to be one, so I completed a Certificate IV in Graphic Design. I started The Creative Quartier (formerly Glow Marketing) in 2013 providing graphic design, brand consulting and communications services and haven't looked back.
I now call beautiful Germany home and when I’m not working, our toddler, Oliver, and Great Dane, Henry, keep me on my toes. I have a huge love for fashion, estate jewellery and antique furniture, and all my globetrotting has cursed me with being a massive foodie, so whenever we get the chance, my husband and I love to splurge on an awesome meal out.
The adventures that got me here...
